LAMPASAS COUNTY, TX : Boy injured in crash involving dump truck on Thursday, 8th February 2024

An eight-year-old boy is injured in a Lampasas County crash involving a dump truck.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says a 1989 International dump truck loaded with dirt and driven by a Copperas Cove woman was traveling eastbound on FM-580 at approximately 7:15 a.m. Thursday. According to the lead Trooper, the driver said she saw a school bus stopped on the westbound side, which had its lights activated and was loading children.
