Yorkville, WI : Four people injured in a two-car accident in Racine County on Saturday, Aug 22, 2015
Four people were injured in a two-car accident Saturday in Racine County.
Two motorists suffered severe internal injuries and were taken by Flight for Life helicopter to Froedtert Hospital while two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to St. Catherine's Hospital in Kenosha.
The accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. at U.S. 45 and County Highway KR in the town of Yorkville. The accident was caused by failure to stop at a stop sign, according to the Racine County Sheriff's Department. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the accident.
