Portage, MI : 31-year-old alleged drunk driver crashes car into house on South Westnedge Avenue in Portage on Sunday morning, September 28, 2014

A drunk driver is in the hospital after crashing his car into a house Sunday morning, police say. The crash happened at around 1:30 a.m. on South Westnedge Avenue near Melody Avenue in Portage. The 31-year-old driver had to be removed from his car. Authorities believe the man had been drinking before he lost control and hit a house and utility pole. The driver’s condition was unknown Sunday afternoon. Police have not said whether anyone was inside of the home when the crash occurred. Source : Police: Drunk driver crashes into house
