FRESNO COUNTY, CA : 1 killed in ATV crash in Fresno County on Thursday, 13th July 2023

The California Highway Patrol believes alcohol may be to blame for a deadly ATV crash in Fresno County.

It happened sometime overnight on Jefferson Avenue near McCall in Del Ray.

Officers didn't discover the scene until about 4 am Thursday.

The CHP says a 46-year-old man was driving the ATV when he hit a stand-pipe directly in his path and was thrown from the vehicle.

Officers say the man was not wearing a helmet.
