Derby, KS : young child killed and two others critically injured in a fatal crash on Sunday November 29 2015

A young child was killed and two others were critically injured in a crash on Rock Road on Sunday. The crash occurred in the 4500 block of South Rock Road just after 2 p.m.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department says a woman and child were in a car headed southbound when for some reason it began to slide, crossed the center line and slid into the path of a northbound pickup truck.
The 23-month-old child, identified as Tessa Ann Wilson, died. Tessa was passenger in the car driven by 28-year-old Caitlin V. Wilson. Caitlin and the driver of the pickup, identified as Paul Rhinehart, were both taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The collision is still being investigated by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
