Louisville, KY : Victim identified in fatal Louisville car crash on Taylor Boulevard and Bicknel Avenue on Wednesday,22nd April, 2020

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified an 18-year-old man killed in a vechile crash on Taylor Boulevard and Bicknel Avenue, on Wednesday evening.

Dylan Norvell, 18, of LaGrange, Georgia, died as a passenger in a white Toyota that hit a Louisville Metro EMS ambulance head-on. He died of internal injuries according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner David Wood.

Jefferson County police previously reported that Norvell was riding in a car that was driving south on Taylor Boulevard when it drifted into the northbound lanes of traffic and struck an ambulance, LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said.

The driver of the SUV was reported in critical condition. The driver and passenger in the ambulance were listed in serious condition, Mitchell said. The injured were taken to University of Louisville Hospital.

There was no patient onboard the ambulance at the time of the crash.
