Hagerstown, AL : At least one person hurt in motorcycle crash at Eastern Boulevard and Professional Court in Hagerstown on Wednesday, 17th July 2019

A 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital after the motorcycle he was riding and a minivan crashed Wednesday afternoon at Eastern Boulevard and Professional Court in Hagerstown.

Officer Heather Aleshire said the motorcyclist, whose name was not being released, was taken to Meritus Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries.

Police said the motorcycle was heading north on Eastern Boulevard when it collided with a southbound Honda minivan making a left turn onto Professional Court.

Aleshire said that Maryland State Police were called to help with the investigation.

She said the driver of the minivan, James Thomas, 75, of Hagerstown was not injured.
