GATES MILLS, OH : Truck driver killed in single-vehicle accident in Gates Mills on Wednesday, October, 18th 2017

Police continue to investigate the cause of a single-vehicle crash that took the life of Travis Gelhausen, 25, of Thompson Wednesday.
Mr. Gelhausen was driving a Waste Management garbage truck on Brigham Road at about 11:19 a.m. Oct. 18 when he failed to negotiate a right turn on Chagrin River Road and crashed, causing the truck to overturn. Police reported that there were no signs of life when the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner arrived on scene. Mr. Gelhausen was pronounced dead at the scene and was not taken to the hospital, officials said.
