Lawrenceville, GA : Police charge driver in fatal accident involving Suwanee motorcyclist at the intersection of Collins Hill Road and Russell Road on Monday, 30th March, 2020

Gwinnett County police have charged a 20-year-old driver with vehicular homicide after her Honda Accord collided with and killed the driver of a motorcycle at the intersection of Collins Hill Road and Russell Road in Lawrenceville.

The lead investigator charged 20-year-old Lawrenceville woman Natalie Merizalde with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield while turning left. Police said she has cooperated with the investigation and is making arrangements to turn herself in.

Gwinnett County police said 49-year-old Robert Boren was ejected from his motorcycle when he collided with Marizalde's Honda Accord, which was turning left at an intersection in front of the oncoming motorcycle. Boren died after being transported to a local hospital, police said.
