Seguin, TX : One woman was sent to the hospital following a wreck on Thursday, October, 19th 2017
One woman was sent to the hospital following a wreck at the intersection of U.S Highway 90 East and N. Highway 123 Bypass Wednesday afternoon.
The Seguin Police Department, Seguin Fire Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a collision involving a white Plymouth Neon and a white Nissan Titan truck just after 2 p.m.
“The accident is still under investigation,” Seguin Police Patrol Office Paul Blea said. “It’s possible that someone ran a red light or failed to yield … by just having the green light, but not the green arrow.”
The Plymouth was allegedly traveling westbound on U.S Highway 90 East, while the Titan was planning to make a left turn North onto Highway 123, he said.
“We’re hoping that a witness that was here may come forward and give us a little bit more information on what happen,” Blea said.
An as-yet unidentified elderly woman was transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center after sustaining injuries while sitting in the backseat of the car during the wreck, Blew said.
The wreck is still under investigation.
