Fishkill, NY : Teen dies, three hurt in One-car crash; speed was a factor in accident on Saturday afternoon July 12th 2014

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office says a teenager has died and three other young people were injured in a one-car crash.

The sheriff's office says 18-year-old Siobhan Dolphin of Fishkill died in the crash Saturday afternoon on Baxtertown Road in Fishkill. She was riding in a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by 27-year-old Carmine Sorvillo of Wappingers Falls. The driver lost control of the car and swerved off the road, hitting a rock wall, trees and a utility pole.

Police say Sorvillo and two passengers were taken to hospitals. One of them, 21-year-old Spencer Eisenhuth of Wappingers Falls, was listed in critical condition at Westchester Medical Center.

The sheriff's office says speed apparently was a factor in the crash but there was no indication drugs or alcohol were involved.
