Savannah ,GA : 1 dead after single-vehicle crash on Goebel Avenue on December, Sunday 10th 2017

Savannah-Chatham police’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal single-car crash that happened early Sunday morning.

Police responded to the 200 block of Goebel Avenue around 5:40 a.m. They found Leon Givens, 61, suffering from life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash, Cpl. Hillary Nielsen said.

Givens died from his injuries.

TIU investigation found that Givens was traveling north on Goebel Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle.

Nielsen said this investigation is ongoing.
