Miami, FL : Two people injured after SUV collided with a bus bench in Miami on Wednesday, Nov 4, 2015

Two people were hospitalized after an SUV collided with a bus bench in Miami, Wednesday.

7Skyforce hovered above as Miami Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene at Northwest 41st Avenue, off of Le Jeune Road.

The SUV crashed through a bus bench at around 12 p.m. where people were waiting for public transit, and into the waiting room of the Miami Heart Center doctor's office.

The two injured, the SUV's female driver and a male pedestrian who was waiting for the bus, were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The woman lost control of her car and ran the curb. The impact sent her out of her vehicle and into the ground.

Last week, there was a fatal collision in Lauderdale Lakes involving an SUV and a bus stop. One bus rider said this incident makes him feel nervous. "These stops are very close to the street, and I know that in the last year or so, we've had two or three run-overs from cars," he said. "It's dangerous. Right now, there's nothing left here."

The driver and the person waiting for the bus are listed in serious condition at JMH.
