PHOENIX, AZ : Driver crashes suspected stolen car causing major damage in downtown Phoenix neighborhood on Friday, 10th May 2024

Phoenix police are searching for a driver who crashed what witnesses say was a stolen car in a downtown neighborhood and then ran away from the scene.

“It was shocking,” said Ben, who lives in the neighborhood.

Security camera video captured the moment a white sedan rammed into the back of a parked car near 10th and Roosevelt streets.

Surprisingly, that person manages to walk away from the scene, seemingly unharmed.

Phoenix Police says that while officers were on the scene, a man showed up claiming to own the white car and that he believed it had been stolen before the crash.
