MOUNT PLEASANT, SC : 3 in custody after Mount Pleasant chase, crash on Monday, 16th October 2023

Four people are in custody with one still on the run following an early Monday morning pursuit and crash off Long Point Road.
Officials with the Mount Pleasant Police Department said the chase stemmed from a report over a stolen vehicle.
Four people in two different cars led officers in pursuit before the suspects crashed off Long Point Road and took off on foot heading toward the port.
Two of the four were captured in a nearby neighborhood a short time later. A third was captured a few hours later. A fourth has also been taken into custody.
