Man dies after being hit by FedEx truck in Athens Georgia

A man has died after being hit by a FedEx 18-wheeler in Athens.Roger Phillip Glass III was struck at around 10 p.m. Friday.

The 28-year-old victim was taken to Athens Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon.
The accident is under investigation. Athens-Clarke County police said they have not filed any charges.
