MESA, AZ : Deadly crash prompted closure of U.S. 60 in Mesa on Tuesday, 1st August 2023

A deadly crash involving multiple vehicles led to the shutdown of a portion of the U.S. 60 in Mesa.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says one person has died following the crash on Aug. 1 along the westbound lanes near Val Vista.

The westbound lanes were closed at Greenfield Road for some time, but the freeway has since reopened to traffic.
