Warren County, OH : 76-year-old woman killed in Warren County I-71 crash on Sunday, 2nd April 2023

A woman died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Deerfield Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

In a news release, the patrol said Shirley Coletta, 76, of Cincinnati, was driving northbound on Interstate 71 in an SUV when she was hit from behind by a sedan driven by Samuel Sperry, 25, of Cincinnati.

Both cars went off the right side of the roadway, and Coletta's car rolled over. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Patricia Jump, 54, of Cincinnati, was a passenger in Coletta's vehicle. She was seriously injured and transported to Bethesda North Hospital.

Troopers said, "speed, alcohol and drugs are suspected."

The crash is under investigation.
