Oregon, OH :An Oregon man has died from injuries sustained in 3 vehicle crash on Thursday, July 2nd 2015

An Oregon man has died after an early morning three-vehicle crash on Thursday.At approximately 7:33 a.m. a vehicle driven by Jacob Greer, 24, of Fremont failed to react to two stopped vehicles at a red light on Woodville Road at the Drouillard intersection. Witnesses say Greer was traveling at an excessive rate of speed before slamming into Sean Lutzmann, 27, of Oregon. The force of the impact caused Lutzmann’s vehicle to strike the vehicle stopped in front of him driven by Gregory Small of Toledo. The impact caused Mr. Small’s vehicle to travel across the intersection.Mr. Lutzmann was pronounced deceased from his injuries shortly after being transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital. Mr. Small was transported to Bay Park Hospital for his injuries and his condition is not currently known. Mr. Greer was treated and released at the scene.Mr. Greer has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.All drivers were wearing safety belts at the time of the wreck and air bags were deployed in all three vehicles.The investigation is ongoing.
