TUCSON, AZ : One man dead after crash in central Tucson on Tuesday, 12th March 2024

On Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m., officers from the Tucson Police Department and members of the Tucson Fire Department responded to a fatal crash in central Tucson.

TPD says a pedestrian was hit by the driver of a vehicle near 1st Avenue and Grant Road. The 58-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to TPD, the 21-year-old driver stayed at the scene. The driver was not injured and cooperated with TPD.
