A Belleville man faces negligent homicide charges stemming from a 2014 wreck that killed two people.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office tells media outlets that 50-year-old Philip Naylor was arrested on Saturday at a residence in Parkersburg.
The sheriff's office alleges that Naylor was the driver of a vehicle that hit an embankment, went airborne and rolled after failing to navigate a bend in the road. Naylor, 23-year-old Ashley McGrew and her 11-year-old sister, Jasmyne R. Scott, were ejected from the vehicle.McGrew and Scott were killed.
Naylor has denied being the driver.The accident occurred in December 2014 in Mineral Wells.
