One dead in South Seattle head-on collision in Washington
The man who died after a head-on collision in South Seattle this morning has been identified as Elwin Trinh, 23. The cause of death was blunt-force trauma of the head and neck, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
One man died and another was rushed to the hospital after a head-on collision in South Seattle this morning.
Seattle police said a white 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck was driving north on 4th Avenue South at the same time that a burgundy 1997 Toyota Camry 4-door sedan was traveling southbound.The two vehicles collided head on in the 5300 block of 4th Avenue South shortly before 3 a.m., police said.
The driver of the Toyota sedan, an adult male believed to be in his 20's, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The adult male driver of the Ford truck was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.Both men were the sole occupants in their respective vehicles, police said.
