Cranston, RI : Pedestrian struck, killed in Cranston on Monday, December 1, 2014

Cranston Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed around 5 p.m. tonight. Police say the person was hit by an SUV at the intersection of Howard Avenue and Pontiac Avenue. No charges have been filed and the driver of the SUV stayed on scene after the accident, cooperating with police.
