Sahuarita,AZ : Two in hospital after crash in Sahuarita on August, Tuesday 1st 2017

The Sahuarita Police Department is investigating a crash on southbound Nogales Highway that sent two Sells residents to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries this morning.

The victims were traveling south on Nogales Highway around 8 a.m. when they rolled their vehicle between Pima Mine and Sahuarita Road, said Lt. Sam Almodova.

The driver and passenger were taken to a Tucson hospital and police closed the highway to investigate the crash, Almodova said.

It’s believed the accident may have been alcohol-related and traffic is now back to normal, Almodova said.
