Phoenix, AZ : Three hospitalized after two-vehicle crash at 7th Avenue and Broadway on Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2016

Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash Sunday afternoon involving a pickup truck and a car.

Phoenix firefighters said two vehicles crashed at 7th Avenue and Broadway, sending a car into a nearby building.

Three people traveling in a pickup truck were able to get out, but paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital. Those hurt, ages 35, 16 and 10, were in serious but stable condition, officials said.

The building the car hit is believed to be unstable, firefighters said, and those inside were able to get out safely.
