Marion,IA : Eastern Iowa deputies say man working under minivan dies after vehicle falls on him on Monday September 29th, 2014

Authorities in eastern Iowa say a man working under a disabled minivan on the side of the road died after the vehicle fell on him. Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports that Linn County Sheriff's deputies were called to the road, between Marion and Springville, around 8 p.m. Monday. First responders arrived to find the minivan that had fallen on 56-year-old Jerry D. Rabe, of Blairstown. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
