Women, daughter dead in road mishap

According to the received information, the previous day on the Peterson road, near the south of Meadow Hill Drive, Saddia Ghaffar who was driving with her children was hit by another vehicle at south coming from the other side on Preston when a northbound vehicle crossed the median and struck them. As a result, Saddia Ghaffar and her daughter Zoya, two years old died in the hospital. Whereas her ten-year old daughter who was treated and released from the hospital.Driver of northbound vehicle Cindy Castillo, a 21 years old female, resident of Frisco, was taken to the medical center Plano.

However after her medical checkup and investigation the tests did not show any toxicant in her blood and urine.

The police are still investigating the accident.38-year old Saddia Ghaffar who lost her life along with her two-year old daughter has not only left a husband Adnan Ghaffar and 2 kids bereaved but the whole Muslim community of DFW metropolis in great loss and shock.

She was a productive member of the Frisco community and Plano previously. A teacher at the local Mosque, a volunteer, and greatly involved at her kids' schools.

She was from Karachi, Pakistan, she was a happy and helpful person in the community. People from DFW community prayed for the departed soul, her funeral prayers will be after Dhuhr (1:45 PM) tomorrow Tuesday, December 18th, 2012 at Richardson Masjid and burial in Denton cemetery thereafter.
