CEDAR PARK, TX : Two children killed in Cedar Park crash on W. Whitestone Blvd on Wednesday, January, 10th 2018

Police in Cedar Park responded to a two-vehicle crash that killed two children Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the crash involving a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Nissan Rouge SUV happened just before 4 p.m. at the corner of West Whitestone Boulevard (FM 1431) and Walton Way. The area where the crash happened is in front of the Walmart.

Both of the children who died, 1-year-old Daniel Chaudhary and 8-year-old Elijah Chaudhary, were in the SUV. The 31-year-old woman driving the SUV was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Cedar Park police say the 8-year-old boy was a student at Winkley Elementary School.

The driver of the pickup truck along with their passenger were treated for minor injuries.
