Temple, TX : A single-vehicle crash in the area of exit 295 on Tuesday, October, 31st 2017

At about 4:25 a.m. Tuesday, Temple Police officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash in the area of exit 295 on southbound Interstate 35, Shawana Neely, public information officer for Temple Police, said.

A witness called 911 and said a pickup was traveling south on the interstate attempting to exit at exit 295 when it wrecked onto the service road (S. General Bruce Drive). Officers arrived and located a black Ford truck and a white male who had been ejected from the vehicle. The male was unresponsive and was pronounce dead by Justice of the Peace Don Engleking.

Temple Police Department’s accident reconstructionist were called to the scene to investigate. The circumstance of this crash are still under investigation.
