A man was hospitalized on Saturday night from a single-vehicle car crash.
McCracken County officials received word of the crash around 10:20 Saturday night. Deputies arrived on the scene at Kentucky Dam Road near the edge of McCracken and Marshall counties. Multiple nearby residents who had heard the commotion were also present.
Officials conducted an investigation into the cause of the crash. According to a release from the deputies, Lorenzo Hernandez, 27, from Union City, TN, had driven eastward on Kentucky Dam Road immediately prior to the crash. As he was coming upon the line into Marshall County, Hernandez drove off the road and through multiple residents' front yards.
