CLINTON, MS : Clinton man killed in rollover crash is identified on Monday, 2nd September 2019

A man killed in a rollover crash on High Street Monday night has been identified as Michael T. Michaud, 37, of Stone Street, police said.

Clinton Police Lt. Brian Coyne said the crash is under investigation.

Several 911 callers reported a crash near 562 High St., which is near Fuller Field, at 7:42 p.m. Monday, saying a vehicle hit a utility pole and flipped over, Lt. Coyne said.

The driver, who was the only person in the car, died before first responders arrived, Lt. Coyne said. He said the car landed on its roof on the sidewalk on High Street near Boynton Street.

State police and the state medical examiner’s officer are investigating, local police said. A local business owner was asked to review his security video footage.
