FALKVILLE, AL : A Falkville woman died on April, Thursday 20th 2017

A Falkville woman died Thursday morning in a wreck on Morgan County 55, four miles west of Falkville, according to state troopers.

Troopers said Debra Skinner Hollingsworth, 62, died after the 2004 Chevrolet SUV she was driving left the road and struck a culvert at about 11:30 a.m. Hollingsworth, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and transported to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries, troopers said.

No other vehicles were involved and no one else was hurt. Troopers continue to investigate.
