Albany,NY : Serious ATV crash in Washington County on June, Saturday 3rd2017

A 57-year-old man sustained a serious head injury Saturday after his ATV rolled over multiple times in this town on the border of Washington and Essex counties.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office said it responded to Route 22 at 6:46 p.m. Saturday for a report of an ATV accident.
Deputies said they found Randy A. Moore of Putnam Station with serious injuries. The sheriff's office said Moore was operating his 2001 Polaris ATV alongside the road when he lost control and over corrected, causing the vehicle to roll over several times. Deputies said it appeared Moore was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Moore was flown to Albany Medical Center for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is under investigation, including if alcohol was a factor in the crash. State Route 22 was closed for a portion of Saturday evening while Moore was transported into a medical helicopter.
