Pocatello, ID : North Carolina woman in stable condition after one-vehicle wreck near Malad Summit on Wednesday night, September 21, 2016

A North Carolina woman escaped serious injury after being involved in a one-vehicle roll-over accident Wednesday night near Malad Summit.

Shaquan D. Burns, 21, of Gastonia, North Carolina, was driving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra northbound on Interstate 15 when she lost control of the vehicle, according to a release issued by Idaho State Police. The vehicle went into the median and overturned. Burns was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center, where she is in stable condition.

The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
