MOBILE, AL : 6 hurt in Commerce City crash on Monday, 4th March 2024

A woman lost her life as the result of a fatal single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Schillinger’s Road and Cottage Hill Road, according to Mobile police.

Police said Lydia Woods, 44, was on a motorcycle traveling south on Schillinger’s Road crossing Cottage Hill Road just after 4 p.m. when she left the roadway and struck a concrete culvert. Woods was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries, police said.

The MPD said the incident remains under investigation.
