Bay St. Louis, MS : Tanker truck carrying hazardous materials crashes on I-10 in Hancock County on Sunday, Nov 29, 2015

The Mississippi State Highway Patrol has confirmed that another accident has occurred on I-10 in Hancock County.

Officials say a westbound 18-wheeler carrying toxic, corrosive and flammable materials entered the median and hit several trees near Exit 2 around 1:20 p.m. The drive of the truck, Claude Seth McDonald of Jackson, Ala., sustained minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital.

A HAZMAT team is on the scene, one lane on westbound I-10 has re-opened. The MSHP is diverting drivers off of the interstate at Exit 13 to MS 43 to Hwy. 90, please be prepared for delays in the area.

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.
