SACRAMENTO, CA : 1 killed, 1 detained after possible drunk driving accident in South Sacramento on Monday, 7th October 2024

A person is dead and another is detained at the hospital after a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning in South Sacramento.

Just after 12:45 a.m., a sedan and SUV collided along Franklin Boulevard near Sunmeadow Drive, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The single occupant of the sedan suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
