Boise, ID : Three teens seriously injured in a two-car crash on Monday, December, 4th 2017
Destiney M. Jacobs, a 14-year-old Nampa resident who was one of three teens seriously injured in a two-car crash Monday, died Wednesday at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, the Ada County Coroner’s Office confirmed Friday.
Destiney died of blunt force trauma due to a motor vehicle accident, the coroner concluded in a press release. Her heart was donated on Thursday.
Two other teens, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, remain in critical condition due to the crash, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the release, Desiney was an unrestrained passenger in the crash that required extraction. The crash happened Monday morning on West State Street and Park Lane in Eagle.
