A 22-year-old man died in motorcycle crash in Timonium Wednesday, Baltimore County police said.

Police identified the victim as Fayar Farhang, of the first block of W. Main Blvd.

Farhang was driving a 2008 Honda sport bike north on York Road just after 11 a.m. when the bike struck a 2012 Buick Regal turning east onto Deneison Street from the York Road southbound lanes, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to Sinai, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The driver of the Buick, a 73-year-old woman, was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Towson with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash was under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team, police said.

A man who answered the phone at Farhang's home Thursday declined to comment.
