BERKELEY COUNTY, SC : Coroner identifies man killed in auto-pedestrian crash in Berkeley Co on Friday, 19th July 2024

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was killed Friday night in an auto-pedestrian crash.
Juan Diego Ordonez Velazquez, 35, of St. Stephen, died at the scene of the crash on Forty-One Road near Spider Lane, Coroner Darnell D. Hartwell said.
The driver of a 1996 GMC pickup truck was traveling south on Forty-One Road around 8:50 p.m., about two miles south of St. Stephen, when they collided with three pedestrians, two of which were children.
Both children were injured and taken to MUSC for treatment.
