UNION TOWNSHIP, IN : Driver airlifted after Union Township crash on April, Monday 3rd 2017

A driver was airlifted early Monday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash in the area of County Roads 450 North and 675 West.

Union Fire Rescue extricated the driver, said Porter County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Jeff Biggs.

The driver, who has not been identified, possibly sustained a broken leg and a head injury and was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.
