Odessa, TX : A 25-year-old Odessa man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in a crash on May, Monday, 22nd 2017

A 25-year-old Odessa man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries when he was struck by a pickup truck early Sunday morning as he walked across the service road of Highway 191 outside of a crosswalk in northeast Odessa.
Police reported Shawn Marro was walking south across the 6900 north service road of the highway, near Billy Hext road, when he was struck at about 4:41 a.m. by a 2016 GMC Sierra traveling west.
Police reported Marro was taken by ambulance to Medical Center Hospital with injuries considered life threatening.
The pickup truck driver, identified as 24-year-old Spencer Willis, was not faulted in the wreck, police spokesman Cpl. Steve LeSueur said. Police reported Marro failed to yield the right of way to the pickup truck.
Marro was listed in serious condition on Monday.
