A Casselberry man was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 4 near Lake Helen, a Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman said. John Garth, 57, died at the scene of the crash when the car he was driving crashed into a concrete utility pole, Sgt. Kim Montes said. According to Montes, Garth was eastbound on I-4 and approaching Summit Avenue near Lake Helen at 8:29 p.m. when the car left the interstate, ran off the south shoulder of the road and slammed into a concrete pole.
