Memphis, TN : 1 person killed in accident with tractor-trailer on Interstate 240 and Walnut Grove on Wednesday morning, November 19, 2014

One person was killed after crashing into a tractor-trailer on an overpass. The accident happened at Interstate 240 and Walnut Grove on Wednesday morning. According to witnesses, the driver of the truck appeared to be making a U-turn after exiting the expressway ramp. That's when a small, gray car came over the overpass, crashed into the truck and became pinned underneath it. People in the area say that stretch of Walnut Grove Road can be hectic, especially during peak driving hours. "Everybody drives way too fast. But, that's Memphis for you," said Brian Houston, who lives in the neighborhood. Investigators have not yet said whether anyone was cited for the accident.
