Geary County, KS : Lecompton man injured in Geary County crash on K-177 highway, about 11 miles south of Manhattan on Tuesday, 28th August 2018

One person was injured Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on a Geary County highway, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday on K-177 highway, about 11 miles south of Manhattan.

According to the patrol’s online crash log, a 2015 Jeep Wrangler was southbound on K-177 preparing to turn left — or east — onto Old K-18 when it was struck from behind by a 1999 Ford Taurus that failed to stop, the patrol said.
