Alexandria, KY : Motorcyclist dies in collision on Licking Pike on Thursday afternoon, July 7, 2016

A motorcyclist died Thursday afternoon after a fatal collision with a pick-up truck near Alexandria, Kentucky.

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, crossed the centerline of the road while traveling southbound on Licking Pike, then collided with a Chevrolet pick-up traveling northbound, according to a news release from Campbell County police.

Police declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
