HAMBURG, NY : Angola man going to prison following fatal crash in Hamburg on Friday, 30th August 2024

An Angola man who admitted to driving recklessly when he caused a deadly crash has been sentenced to spend the next three to nine years behind bars.

The Erie County District Attorney's Office said Anthony Rydzewski, now 41, was speeding through Hamburg at Route 5 and Lakeview Road on Feb. 28 when he crashed into 37-year-old Jenny Zuhlke. She was declared dead at the scene. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center to be treated.
