SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA : 2 dead, child hospitalized after accident along Dillard Road in Sacramento County on Tuesday, 20th June 2023

Two people are dead and a toddler critically injured after a head-on collision south of Elk Grove Tuesday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the call came in for an accident on Dillard Road just east of SR-99 around 9:30 p.m.

CHP says its preliminary investigation found a 27-year-old from Ukiah was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue westbound on Dillard Road. Witnesses told investigators the driver was following too close and making unsafe passing maneuvers.
