Gadsden,AL : Gallant woman dies in Limestone County crash on June, Wednesday 21th 2017

A two-vehicle crash in Limestone County claimed the life of a Gallant woman and injured a Sylacauga man, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Haley Elise Raymond, 31, was killed when the 2017 Ford Focus, in which she was a passenger, was struck by a 2017 Chevrolet 2500. Raymond was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ford, Justin Thomas O’Neal, 27, was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured. The crash occurred at 4:28 p.m. on Holt Road three miles north of Athens. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
