Fairfield, CT : Lanes reopen after Route 8/25 crash; traffic building on Sunday, February 12th 2017

Two southbound lanes closed after a two-vehicle accident on Route 8/25 in Bridgeport have reopened.
Traffic however is building as drivers get a jump on the AM commute.
In Bridgeport, southbound traffic is heavy from Route 8/25 down to Exit 21 in Fairfield.
On the Merritt Parkway, southbound speeds are in the teens from Route 25 in Trumbull to Exit 44 in Fairfield.
Traffic is also starting to building on I-84 in the Danbury area in both directions.
